National School Chaplaincy and Student Welfare Program

On 24 May 2012, the Minister for School Education Peter Garrett announced the schools that were successful in receiving funding under the continuation and expansion of the National School Chaplaincy and Student Welfare Program.
1000 new schools were successful in their application for funding under the Program. The application round was open to all schools who were not funded under the National School Chaplaincy Program.  Palm Beach State School was one of these successful schools.  The school's chaplain, Shannon Henderson commenced at the start of Term 4.
